  26. Yes, the PSU *does* need a load on, I just built someone a 200 watt one and
  27. that would shoot up to 5v on the 5v line, then reduce quickly to about 2v.
  28. Also the fan wouldn't turn without a load, I suppose it was connected to the
  29. output directly.

  31. Ami ones are the same I suppose. Find some low power components and commect
  32. these to the relevant lines and gnd and retest.

  34. My way of testing them is a) pray, b) check the wiring, c)cross your fingers,
  35. d) check the wiring once more and I'm sorry to say e) plug it in the back of
  36. my A1200 (spare one). Not very technical is it? :)
