- Yes, the PSU *does* need a load on, I just built someone a 200 watt one and
- that would shoot up to 5v on the 5v line, then reduce quickly to about 2v.
- Also the fan wouldn't turn without a load, I suppose it was connected to the
- output directly.

- Ami ones are the same I suppose. Find some low power components and commect
- these to the relevant lines and gnd and retest.

- My way of testing them is a) pray, b) check the wiring, c)cross your fingers,
- d) check the wiring once more and I'm sorry to say e) plug it in the back of
- my A1200 (spare one). Not very technical is it? :)
